The Naam Music Project - January 26, 2014

My wife Janet and me have created The Naam Music Project. It's in the New Mantra style, merging traditional Indian, Celtic, Folk Blues, Mantra and Kirtan, Take a look and listen:

We plan to do Kirtans the New York area and perform at summer New Age festivals.

I've been busy producing a New Mantra CD with my wife Janet Dailey Butler. It's something quite new. I'll post when it's ready. I'll be visiting Nashville in a couple of months, looking for a publisher.

Anti-Folk Anti-Mic! - June 4, 2007

Anti-Folk pioneer Kirk Kelly is hosting a select group of NY based singer songwriters in an open mic every Tuesday evening. The songwriting is powerful and intimate. It's a great chance to see some of NY's finest singer songwriters up close and personal.

New Band - June 4, 2006

Bassist Wayne Batchelor (Ronny Jordan) and drummer Paul Duskin (Robert Fripp/Escalators) have joined with Martin and will be performing around NYC this summer/fall.

Baby Goes to Eleven! - March 11, 2006

Martin has just finished producing a new single by Marco Argiro. The single is a cover of a Superdrag song that willl be included on an upcoming tribute album to be released in the early spring of 2006. Also, Martin has mixed an EP for Dave Cuomo, the Urban Folk maestro. The EP is being given to anyone attending Dave's gigs , so don't miss him.

CD Available - September 23, 2005

Martin's new CD, "Watching the Days Fall" has been remastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music. The CD is available now at NYCD ( see Store) and at CD Baby. It will be available at Emusic and at Apple's I-Tunes in a few weeks.
